Candy Girls

The space you've got decides which Candy Girls show you book. With room for aerial rigging, the full version runs 45 minutes and includes trapeze. Where a trapeze won't fit, the 35-minute ground show plays inside a marked-out stage area and needs a PA to plug into, plus two microphones. Either way it's a family show from three Western Australian circus performers. Acrobatics and dance share the bill with diabolo, lasso tricks, hula hoops and juggling, and slapstick fills the gaps between routines, carried by good comic timing. The whole thing is bright to look at, and it moves easily between an outdoor festival and an indoor venue. The trio works out of Perth.
