Nicola Milan and the Stray Cat Club take 1920s swing and run it through pop, trip hop and electronic grooves, with Nicola's silky vocals on top. Love, lust and passion drive the songs, while the show plays with the look and mood of the Roaring Twenties: hidden bars, gangsters, millionaires and glamour. Nicola draws on notorious characters from history, films from the golden era and the parties of that decade. The result is cheeky, a little seductive, and more modern than a straight vintage band. A Gatsby night or any themed party that wants period glamour without sounding dusty is the obvious setting. They're based in Perth.
