Music Lovers is a jazz band based in Sydney, NSW.
Music Lovers take songs you know from the radio and turn them into jazz. Levitating, Dance Monkey, Hips Don't Lie and Cold Heart get the same treatment as the Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra standards, which makes the Sydney group a smart match for a ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. Dave Bell plays sax, with Cam Reid on drums, Nathan Gliddon on guitar and Wes Harder at the piano, and bookings run from two to five musicians with up to four 45-minute sets. Their PA suits up to 200 guests and plays recorded music between sets, and there are combos with a DJ. Corporate work includes events for American Express, CommBank, Samsung and Facebook. The band needs a performance area no smaller than 4 by 3 metres, and three or four power points. Insured and travelling nationwide.
