Mr Shaggles

In Mr Shaggles Circus World, the audience ends up doing the tricks. Mr Shaggles plays a bumbling ringmaster who coaxes, directs and cheers people on until they're the animal trainers, jugglers and acrobats themselves. The show runs up to an hour and takes in juggling, hula hoops, magic, acrobatics and plenty of circus comedy, and the point is to show kids and adults alike that they can do it too. Anyone who missed a turn on stage gets a chance afterwards, with open circus play covering plate spinning, diabolo, juggling and hoops. Each guest can have a balloon animal on request. Behind the character are more than 20 years performing circus around the world, with puppetry, handstands and clowning in the kit. He's based in Middleton, Tasmania, and travels nationwide for parties, fetes, fairs and festivals.
