Meera Belle

Meera Belle can move from opera to pop, jazz, Latin, dance and music theatre within one performance. She's sung solo at the Royal Albert Hall, at Glastonbury and on board the QE2, and at the City Recital Hall in Sydney, and she's worked in television and theatre as an opera singer, cabaret artist and actress. Her show Close To You: A Salute To Karen Carpenter debuted at the Sydney Fringe Festival and then filled the City Recital Hall. She and Ruth McCance later built Blossoming around Blossom Dearie's songs and story, and it sold out Foundry 616. A formal dinner or a cabaret-style evening with a listening audience gets the most out of that range. She's based in Sydney.
