Cuban boots, a three-piece suit and a bowtie made of timber or feathers: Jay Bingle dresses to be noticed, and he matches the look to the couple's style. As Married by Jay, he's a celebrant and MC for weddings in Brisbane and beyond, and each ceremony is shaped around the couple. Some have been as intimate as a picnic in a lounge room, and he has written scripts in the style of a children's book to keep afterwards. The 2024 Queensland ABIA Wedding Awards shortlisted him in two categories, Marriage Celebrant and Master of Ceremonies.
