Mango Jam

Seventeen musicians on one stage is what you get with Mango Jam, a Brisbane big band. Swing and jazz are the backbone, and the band moves into Latin, funk, soul, blues and pop when the dance floor wants a change. That size and range make it a band for a ballroom, a gala dinner or a large wedding reception, where a full horn-heavy sound has room to breathe. The one thing to organise is 16 chairs. Everything else in the set-up comes with the band. Public liability cover is in place, and Mango Jam will play anywhere within 100 km of Brisbane.
