Magypss

Rumba guitars and Spanish vocals are the sound of Magypss, a Gypsy, rumba and flamenco group in the Gypsy Kings style. Expect passionate playing, strong singing and a warm Mediterranean feel that pulls the crowd in. In Sydney they usually play as a trio on guitar and vocals. That acoustic format sits nicely in a bar, a restaurant or a private party, and some nights include a cappella moments. A larger band is available on request. They've performed in France, Belgium and Spain. The set mixes classic covers with their own interpretations, and set lengths are flexible. Basic PA and microphones help, but they can adapt, and they need a small stage or performance space.
