Flamenco-Electro

Spanish flamenco guitar over electronic beats is the sound of Flamenco-Electro, led by Sydney guitarist Mike Rizk. The full show needs the band: four or five players bringing flamenco guitar together with percussion, bass, keys and electronic elements. The music is their own, moving from traditional flamenco and progressive, Gypsy Kings-style playing to flamenco house, with vocals and dance in the mix. It suits corporate functions, festivals, gala dinners and product launches. For a wedding ceremony, a cocktail function, a restaurant or a networking event, Mike also plays solo flamenco guitar or in a flamenco duo, for a more traditional Spanish feel. At the other end, big productions can add flamenco dancers, extra percussion, vocalists and other specialty performers. The band can bring its own PA, holds public liability insurance and travels up to 50 km.
