Loose Surface

Loud is the point with Loose Surface. This Wollongong band plays alt-rock and punk at full volume, with an arena-rock swagger even in a small room. Since October 2023 they've clocked up more than 60 shows around Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and the ACT, including an east-coast run they booked themselves to launch their debut EP, Cheap N' Dirty. At the Beach Road Hotel in January 2025, Tooheys and Dune Rats chose them as openers on a bill with DZ Deathrays, and more than 300 people packed the room. Their newer songs, Pulp and Hearing Aids, carry a message as well as the noise. Book them for a pub gig, a band night or a party that wants a real rock show.
