La Mauvaise Reputation is a jazz band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Accordion, guitars and double bass set the scene, and the singing is in French. La Mauvaise Réputation bring Paris to your function with chanson and swing, taking their cue from Django Reinhardt's sound and from songs linked with Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet. It's a lovely match for a French-themed dinner, a cocktail party or a wedding with a soft spot for Paris. Festival credits for the Melbourne four-piece include Port Fairy as well as the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, and they play private functions and jazz clubs too.
