Kat Kinley is a pianist based in Perth, WA.
Kat Kinley studied classical piano at WAAPA for two years, then spent another two on jazz vocals, and both sides come through when she performs. Her biggest influences are Herbie Hancock and Jimmy Smith, with a bit of Stevie, Quincy, Albert King, Buckley, Sheryl Crow and SuperGroove in there too. Cocktail bars are familiar ground. She's done three-month solo contracts in Japan and in the United Arab Emirates, and she has played pre-show sets ahead of a Michael Jackson concert and ahead of Farnsey and Barnesy. You can book her on her own at the piano, or with a band of three, four or five. The Perth pianist takes cocktail parties, weddings, company functions and private parties.
