Rock with a stomp and blues with a swing: that's the range of Kaijin Solo and The Backbeats. Book the full band and you get their own songs alongside hand-picked classic rock covers. Book the duo and it's smoother, rhythm and blues leaning towards jazz, better for a dinner or a smaller room. Fogsong Records has had Kaijin on its roster since 2020. The Backbeats opened for the Radiators at Ourimbah late in 2023, and filled Mumbos at Terrigal. With notice, they'll tailor the show to a wedding or work function. For the full line-up, plan on a stage or floor area that fits a drummer plus three more musicians, and several single-phase power outlets. They'd rather plug into a house PA, but can bring one depending on the size of the room. Central Coast based, fully insured and happy to travel up to 100 km.
