Josh Staley: Conjuror is a magician based in Melbourne, VIC.
Card tricks happen in your guests' own hands when Josh Staley is mingling, and nobody needs a stage or a sound system for it. That roving close-up set suits a cocktail hour or a wedding reception, where it gets strangers talking. For a seated group, he also has a full show that mixes sleight of hand, mind reading and comedy, with guests pulled up to take part. He holds the title of Australian Champion of Magic, finished in the top 12 for close-up at the World Championships of Magic (FISM), and holds a Guinness World Record. Set-up is usually minimal and gets agreed for each event. Josh works out of Melbourne and travels nationwide. Josh carries public liability cover and has cleared both a police check and a check to work with children.
