Johnny Law & The Pistol Packin' Daddies is a rockabilly band based in Bassendean, WA.
Johnny Law & The Pistol Packin' Daddies play classic rockabilly with plenty of swing in it, and they play to whoever's in front of them. Expect Twenty Flight Rock, Say Mama, I'm Walkin' and Blue Suede Shoes, with Race With The Devil, Little Sister, Baby Please Don't Go and Flip, Flop and Fly, plus some 80s songs bent to fit. Usually they're a four-piece, dropping to three when space or budget calls for it. Each set runs 45 minutes, up to three of them, and the band can bring a small PA. Technical needs are a DI for acoustic guitar, three vocal mics up front, bass and guitar mics, and drum mics for a small kit. The band is based in Bassendean, WA, and every member is insured. On the east coast, Johnny often plays with Sydney backing band The Hipshots, billed as Johnny Law & The Wandering Stars.
