Joanne Grace Ku has perfect pitch, reads music at sight and can play almost anything by ear, so your request list can be as long as you like. For a wedding that means Mendelssohn's Wedding March, the Bridal Chorus, Arrival of the Queen of Sheba or Canon in D, and for the quieter moments Clair de Lune, Gymnopédie No. 1, The Swan or the Moonlight Sonata. The high point of her classical career came in 1990, when she won the AMSA World Piano Competition in Cincinnati and made her Carnegie Hall debut in the same year. She has performed at the Opera House in Sydney, been heard on ABC FM and 2MBS FM, and she has more than 20 years of wedding and corporate work behind her. She has also released a pop-classical album.
