Jimmy mixes by ear. He learned to beat-match by sound rather than reading BPM numbers off a screen, and after more than 18 years as a DJ he'd rather follow the dance floor than stick to a plan. His taste runs wide, from dance, R&B and pop through to grunge, metal and rock. Weddings start with a face-to-face meeting so he understands your crowd and what you want, and he also plays birthdays, christenings and get-togethers with friends. Retail and corporate work is his other specialty: product launches, VIP nights on a shop floor, or team outings that call for chilled background music or a full dance party. With a retail background behind him, he can also spruik your product range during the night. Pubs, clubs and venues can book him too. He's based in Perth.
