Jasper Jazz is a jazz band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Jasper comes as a duo, a five-piece, or a trio or quartet, with trio and quartet options in between, so the Brisbane jazz group fits a quiet lounge as easily as a bigger function room. The look is polished and glamorous, and the sound matches: cool vocal harmonies over tight playing, with a percussionist keeping the groove moving. Jazz is the base, but the set also stretches into funk and soul, and when the night calls for it, pub and party songs. Start them as a smaller line-up for pre-dinner drinks, then bring in the full band once people are ready to move.
