Ingrid James is a jazz band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Ingrid James sings jazz, and she can bring it to you as a duo, trio, quartet or quintet, sized to a cocktail function or a concert stage. She's a Brisbane vocalist and educator whose career has had her singing with both the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Queensland Philharmonic, at QPAC and the Gold Coast arts centre, and on national television. In London she's played Ronnie Scott's, the 606 Club, Spice of Life and Pizza Express Jazz Club, with more dates in Paris, Prague, Nice, Monte Carlo, Marseilles and Toulon. At home she sings with the Brisbane Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, a 19-piece big band, and works with Louise Denson on the Wild Silk Strings Project. Corporate events, festivals, concerts and special occasions all suit her.
