Razor blades are on the menu when Humphrey Cornthwaite does a stage show. Yes, they get eaten. The rest of that set covers a straitjacket escape, cups and balls, card magic and routines using money borrowed from the audience, with volunteers pulled in along the way. The close-up version works between guests with cards, coins, rope, silks, small escapes and a piece of string. Humphrey is a member of The Magic Circle, a club you only join after performing in front of other magicians. Nothing needs supplying. The routines get shaped around your event, and Humphrey also MCs weddings. After 15 years in Canberra this is a local act, with public liability cover and travel of up to 300 km.
