Hoola is a band based in Sydney, NSW.
Ukulele and steel guitar set the tone, the Hawaiian sound of songs like Tiny Bubbles, Blue Hawaii and Sweet Leilani. Everything Hoola plays is live, in 45 minute sets. A duo covers ukulele, steel guitar and vocals, and it grows through trio and quartet to a quintet with bass and percussion. Alongside the island songs sit Moonglow, Poinciana and jazz tunes from the 20s to the 40s, which suits a garden birthday or a relaxed wedding afternoon. They need a level surface, power details and, outdoors, shelter from sun, rain and wind. Sydney based, insured, and they'll play anywhere in New South Wales.
