HighJacked

Four voices and no instruments. HighJacked are a barbershop quartet singing unaccompanied, and they've been doing it together since 2004. In 2013 they took a quartet championship in Barbershop Harmony Australia's Eastern Region. The repertoire leans on songs with strong melodies, from the Beach Boys and the Everly Brothers to Neil Sedaka, Peter Allen and the Beatles, and they put together a program for the occasion. Unaccompanied harmony carries well in a room where people are listening, and a sound system of their own can come along when the space calls for it. The quartet is based in Sydney.
