About
Gül is a belly dancer based in Adelaide, SA.
Gül's shows are short and full of colour: 10, 15 or 20 minutes of Oriental dance, which is easy to slot between courses or just before the dancing starts. She's an Adelaide belly dancer of Middle Eastern heritage, with a strong following in the Turkish, Arabic and Greek communities, and she performs both traditional and contemporary styles. Props can include swords, canes, veils and fan veils, zils (finger cymbals) and Isis wings. The routine can be shaped around the background of your guests. Book her solo, add fellow dancer Adalia for a pair, or add a drummer, Harry, whose darbuka gives the dance a live Middle Eastern beat. Family parties, weddings and company functions all work. She travels up to 500 km.
