Aleksandra - Belly Dancer & Dance Workshops

Pick the length and the style, and Aleksandra shapes a belly dance performance around your event. The short show is about 12 minutes of choreography with some audience interaction, or there's a 20-minute improvised set danced to your own music. The premium option is a choreographed piece with specialty props, such as LED fans, lit or silk wings, a flowing veil or a sidestick, followed by time with the audience. Styles range from classic oriental and drum solos to Baladi, Saidi with cane, Iraqi, Khaleegy and Dabke, plus salsa and samba fusion. Guided group workshops are available too, handy for a hens party or a team day, and nobody needs experience. The floor should be flat and safe, 3 x 3 metres or more, with extra room for the wings, and a sound system with Bluetooth or AUX. Live musicians can be arranged. Based in The Rocks, Aleksandra travels up to 50 km.
