Glenn Skuthorpe

Glenn Skuthorpe is a songwriter first, and his live shows range from urban street blues to music with a lot of open sky in it. Six albums carry his name, and his screen work includes scores for Utopia, the John Pilger documentary, and the film The Emu Runner. Archie Roach, Steve Earle, Kev Carmody, Mary Gauthier, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Rory McLeod, Buddy Miller and Michelle Shocked have all shared a stage with him. At home he's played Woodford, BIGSOUND, the Adelaide Fringe, Port Fairy and Bluesfest at Byron Bay, and abroad he's taken the songs to Germany, New Zealand, Edmonton and Calgary. First Nations Voices is his initiative too: Indigenous artists, some new and some well known, sitting together to play concerts in the round. Book him for a listening crowd at a festival or concert.
