GKode

GKode is a Townsville hip hop artist who writes the lyrics and produces the beats, so what you hear on the night is original from top to bottom. Rap has been the focus since GKode started out at five, and the fan base was built independently, without a promotional push. A set draws on tracks such as Dynamite, How Low, G.A.N.G and BARZ, along with a freestyle, Daville Part 2 and Like Chingy, some with featured artists. The stage setup calls for three microphones, trippy lighting and a smoke machine, which tells you this is a proper gig or club show. GKode travels up to 200 km.
