German Oompah

Lederhosen, beer hall songs and an oom-pah-pah take on Aussie rock: that's German Oompah, a Bavarian-themed band from Perth. Expect traditional drinking songs such as Waldeslust, Ein Prosit and Bayerisches Bierlied, alongside Khe Sanh, Never Tear Us Apart, Down Under and A Long Way to the Top, all given the oompah bounce. The band can rove through a festival or party crowd, or set up on the main stage and play a full show. A party atmosphere is the whole point, so it's made for a German-themed night or a birthday where guests are happy to raise a stein and join in.
