Gallus Ceilidh is a band based in Perth, WA.
Most bookings run as two one-hour sets packed with ceilidh dances: Strip the Willow, the Gay Gordons, the Dashing White Sergeant and plenty more. The twist is in the music. Traditional tunes get mashed together with pieces of songs by Franz Ferdinand, AC/DC, Avicii, The White Stripes, Faithless and Guns N' Roses. There are eight people in the band, so the stage needs to be a reasonable size, and they bring their own PA. This Perth band travels statewide, plays weddings and parties, and will adjust the format to suit your day.
