Finn is a band based in Rozelle, NSW.
Finn are a dance band first. The Sydney trio plays blues, blues rock and rhythm and blues, and has been at it since 1999, at home and overseas. Jim Finn sings and drums, Paul Surany plays guitar and Mike Bellamy is on bass, and sax and keys can join for a bigger sound. Covers include La Grange, Copperhead Road, Pride and Joy, Stray Cat Strut, All Right Now, Spirit in the Sky, Can't Be Satisfied and Have You Ever Seen the Rain, plus medleys and a swing set. Their originals take sharp, funny looks at city life and the state of the world, across ten albums so far. Credits include an SBS performers of the year award, the IBC in Memphis in 2005 and a seventh Irish tour in 2017. They carry a 2600-watt PA and a small light show, and travel statewide from Rozelle.
