Elk Puppets- Puppet Shows

An Elk Puppets show runs for 30 minutes, then the kids get up to ten minutes to meet the puppets and hold them. It's made for kinder and primary-age children, with sing-along songs, music and movement, tricks, jokes and a game worked into the story. The songs are familiar nursery rhymes rearranged for the show, along with originals. Libraries, schools, childcare centres, shopping centres, fetes and holiday programs are regular bookings, and Christmas shows can be adjusted for carols nights and work events. Chris, the puppeteer, supplies the sound system; you supply a power outlet. The show has to be indoors or under cover on a flat surface. The theatre is 1.8 metres wide and 2.5 metres long, with 1.5 metres behind it, and set-up takes an hour. Ringwood-based, he travels nationwide, belongs to UNIMA Australia. On paperwork, Chris has public liability cover and has passed his Working With Children screening.
