East of Zurich

Most of what East of Zurich play is their own. The Brisbane band takes the guitar-driven indie rock and pop of the 90s and softens it with layered keyboards and quiet backing vocals, so the melodies come through first. The line-up came together through a mix of good luck and professional connections, and the set of originals has been growing steadily since. They arrive with all their own gear and plug into a venue or hired PA. It's a band for a crowd that wants new songs rather than a covers night, and they travel up to 50 km.
