Georgia on My Mind, At Last, Summertime and Fly Me to the Moon: Double Time Jazz work from the Great American Songbook, and they treat those songs with real respect. Kate Carlyle sings, and Jordan Asmussen sings and plays piano. Their manner is polished and they read a room well, which counts at a cocktail hour or a formal dinner where the music should sit at just the right level. The duo can grow into a trio with double bass, or a full band that adds sax, guitar, brass and drums.
