Afterglow Acoustics is a musical duo based in Byron Bay, NSW.
The night starts soft with this Byron Bay duo. Ambient tunes carry the early part, then the songs get groovier and the sing-alongs arrive once people have had a drink. The list runs past 60 songs, from Dragon's April Sun in Cuba and Crowded House's Better Be Home Soon to At Last, Crazy by Gnarls Barkley and Fleetwood Mac's Dreams, so pop, soul, jazz and Aussie classics all get a turn. You can send requests before the day. They bring two PA speakers, microphones and a guitar, and need power plus two armless chairs or stools. Packages run from two hours up to five, they're insured, and they'll travel about 100 km. There's video on this page to watch first.
