Django's Tiger

Gypsy jazz is the heart of Django's Tiger, a Hobart group that plays as a trio or a quartet. Guitar and violin lead the sound, which draws on the music of the 1920s through to the 1950s, and the band plays original tunes alongside the older repertoire. Much of it is instrumental, so it can play softly while guests talk over dinner at a wedding or company do, yet has enough swing for a festival crowd. They travel anywhere in Tasmania.
