Divina is an opera singing trio based in Brisbane, QLD.
Arias, duets and full trios from Carmen, La Traviata and The Magic Flute are the core of a Divina performance, sung in the group's own arrangements. The Brisbane vocal collective takes its name and inspiration from Maria Callas. You choose the size: a solo voice for an intimate moment, a duo, the trio or a quartet, and a tenor can be added on request. The repertoire includes the Habanera, O Mio Babbino Caro, the Flower Duet, Nella Fantasia and the Brindisi, plus crossover pieces like The Prayer, Time to Say Goodbye, O Sole Mio and Danny Boy. Sets range from three songs to a full hour, with 20-minute and 40-minute options in between. Backing tracks are the default, though other arrangements can be made. On the tech side, plan for a sound operator, amplification with foldback, and three wireless microphones on stands. Insured, and they travel Australia-wide.
