Darryl Chaplain

Rodeos, campdrafts, horse sports and agricultural shows are where Darryl Chaplain learned to hold a crowd's attention, and he has been announcing at them for more than 40 years. His career started in the arena at the Big Mareeba Rodeo, and since then he has called everything from large campdrafts to the Cairns Show. That outdoor experience carries over to weddings, parties and corporate functions, where he keeps the program on track and the information clear. He can also look after the production side: PA and sound hire, music, programming and coordination. Darryl is based in Mareeba and travels nationwide.
