Cornerhouse Jazz

Traditional dixieland, played hard and fast, is what Corner House bring to a function. The Perth band has played in every Australian state and toured Japan, the USA, New Zealand, Malaysia and Borneo. Locals may know them from their regular Saturday afternoons at the Railway Hotel in North Fremantle, or from Friday nights at The Jazz Cellar in Mount Hawthorn, a vintage jazz room the band runs itself. Then there's the fire engine. The band owns a 1929 Dennis and has taken it through City of Perth street parades, playing all the way. For a wedding or an outdoor event with a bit of old-time spirit, that's a hard entrance to beat.
