Contortion

One performer, and a body that bends further than seems reasonable. Contortion is a solo act from Brisbane, and she moves from one shape to the next slowly and smoothly, more like liquid than someone holding a pose. Flexibility is only half of it. Balance and poise do the rest, and the stillness at the top of each position is where the gasps tend to come. It plays best where guests can gather close and watch, rather than a room that's already busy dancing.
