Bendy Em

The big moment is a small one. Emma folds herself, bit by bit, into a little 16-inch perspex box, and the contortion act builds towards it. Bendy Em is based in Sydney and has taken the show to celebrations from Adelaide to Edinburgh, as well as corporate events, and she's done over a thousand circus street performances. Street shows are all about stopping people who weren't planning to stop, so a room of guests standing around with drinks is familiar ground. A video clip here shows the flexibility up close.
