Claire Hooper

Television audiences may remember Claire Hooper from four years as a team captain on Good News Week, and she's also appeared on Rove Live and The Sideshow. But stand-up is where she started. In Perth she won the WA final of Raw Comedy in 2004, and two years later the Melbourne International Comedy Festival nominated her for Best Newcomer. She writes and performs her own material, and her work since has spread to the stage, the small screen and her own festival shows. She's written a book too, Love Bites, published by ABC Books. Claire is based in Victoria.
