CJ Jones

CJ Jones plays piano like a headline act, turning classical masterpieces, rock anthems, film scores and pop songs into one fast-moving show. Queen and Michael Jackson sit next to famous movie themes and classical and baroque works, and the lines between genres blur along the way. It's a big-stage show from a single performer, and he takes it to corporate events, festivals, community events and aged care homes. On ABC TV's The Piano, he was selected to perform and made it through to the final episode at the Sydney Recital Hall. He has also been a special guest at two ABC Classic 100 concerts at Hamer Hall in Melbourne. Other stages include the Princess Theatre, MONA FOMA and Launceston's Albert Hall, and he's the resident pianist for the Launceston Jazz Club. He has performed alongside Guy Sebastian and Andrea Lam. CJ is based in Launceston and travels Australia-wide.
