Carnival is a band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Piano accordion, mandolin and guitar, carried through the crowd: Carnival is a roving gypsy trio, so the music comes to your guests. The tunes travel a long way in one set. Klezmer and fiery gypsy numbers sit beside French waltzes, tangos, tarantellas and continental favourites, and people have been known to dance in the street to them. The band started in 2000 and has spent years on the South East Queensland festival circuit, at the Redcliffe Festival of Sails, Festuri, the Bundaberg and Queensland multicultural festivals, the Mt Gravatt and Pine Rivers shows and New Year's Eve street parties in Mooloolaba. It's a lively choice for a themed night with a European flavour, a corporate meet and greet, an open day or a wedding. They're based in Brisbane.
