Everyone in the room has lived through the same kind of moments, so it works for a corporate event as comfortably as it does in a comedy club. He's a Longreach boy who was tiling roofs before he started performing in Sydney. Since then he's taken the act around Australia and to comedy venues and festivals overseas, with shows in Edinburgh, New York and Auckland, and he's appeared on television as well.
