About
Brian is a pianist based in Brisbane, QLD.
Piano lounges, cocktail bars and hotel ballrooms are where Brian learned his trade, and he's as comfortable under dinner conversation as he is running a cabaret spot. After a music degree at Melbourne University, he spent a year playing and singing in the piano lounge of the Fairstar, then went to the USA and became cocktail pianist on the Fairsea in the Caribbean. After that he freelanced for several years in luxury hotels, resorts and lounges through the Middle East and Europe, two of those years spent at ski resorts in Switzerland. Then came a decade in London, playing the city's Hilton hotels, weddings and his own cabaret shows for hen's nights and Christmas parties. He now works from Brisbane and is available for venue work, corporate nights, weddings and private parties.
