Holding a microphone is Ben Murphy's day job. He hosts his own TV chat show, The Ben Murphy Show, which won the 2023 Antenna Award for Best Arts Program and screens on Foxtel and on free-to-air TV across New Zealand, South Australia and Victoria. He's also hosted radio programs. As an MC that broadcast background shows in the small things: keeping a running order moving, handing over cleanly to speakers and filling a pause without fuss.
