Belly Dancer

Jordan Galliott's belly dance shows often end with the bride, the groom or the birthday guest pulled up to dance. The Townsville dancer tailors each performance, choosing the style, props, costume colour and music around your event. She balances swords and also works with silk veils, fans, canes, finger cymbals and candelabras. A wedding set usually opens with an entrance song, moves into a folkloric or fantasy piece, brings in the guests, then finishes on an energetic drum solo. Allow 20 to 30 minutes, or two halves of 15 to 20 minutes with a costume change between. Some pieces are danced to Arabic covers of Western songs like Chandelier, Rock the Casbah and Get Lucky. She has toured internationally, holds public liability insurance and travels nationwide. She'll need a sound system, a suitable floor and somewhere to change.
