Belly Dancer Kalikah is a belly dancer based in Adelaide, SA.
A Kalikah show is short and tightly built. Pick a 10, 15 or 20 minute set. It usually opens with an entrance piece, rises into a drum solo or another fast number, slows down for sword or veil work on the floor, then closes on a high-energy song that can bring your guests in. She dances traditional cabaret, fusion, or a gothic and alternative style, and the acts include Wings of Isis, a Moroccan candle tray and a fire act with fire palms and sword that runs up to five minutes. She's a regular on Adelaide's cabaret and Fringe circuit. Plan for a dry, non-slip stage, a Bluetooth speaker, a private change area and 2 metres of ceiling height for the wings. Fire needs a safety assistant and an outdoor or ventilated space. She's insured, fire included, and travels up to 25 km.
