Backlash Jazz

Backlash are a jazz quintet from Perth, and they've been playing together since 2002. The repertoire covers a lot of jazz ground: Latin, 1960s soul jazz, modern funk and original compositions of their own. That range lets the band shift mood across an evening, cool and easy while guests arrive, funkier later once the room loosens up. They've played to crowds big and small, and they bring a stylish, polished feel to a function. Their bookings take in weddings, company events, private functions and bookings from venues around town.
