Aussie & the Menace is a band based in Toowoomba, QLD.
Americana and roots with a Canadian and Australian accent: Aussie & the Menace blend original songs with classic covers from the 50s onwards. At dinner you can chat over them. Then a favourite like 500 Miles, No Secrets, Stuck in the Middle With You or the Come Back Again and Eagle Rock pairing comes on, the volume goes up, and people head for the floor. Copperhead Road, The Weight and Heart of Gold are in the set as well, plus originals such as If This Guitar Could Talk, a country-category winner at the Australian Songwriter Awards. Book them solo, as a duo or as the full four-piece. The duo brings everything. The band brings its own backline, mixer, mics and stands, and connects to a PA with two floor monitors. One member is a professional audio engineer, which covers most small and medium venues. They're from Toowoomba and travel up to 500 km.
