Artisan Jazz Project is a jazz band based in Adelaide, SA.
Cool jazz is the whole brief for Artisan Jazz Project, a five or six-piece from Adelaide playing standards with vocals and instrumentals. Take Five, Blue Bossa, Moonglow and The Girl from Ipanema sit next to Fever, Black Coffee, Hit the Road Jack and Walk On By, with All Blues, Watermelon Man and Sway along the way. It's music for a winery afternoon, or a wedding where guests want live jazz in the background while they catch up. They bring all the amplification and just need access to power. For a CBD gig, they'll need a loading bay and parking for the whole booking. Corporate functions and festivals are on the list too, and the band travels nationwide.
